Description
At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!
If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.
PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.
In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

Size Guide
I’ve used this for the cpu in my media server and gaming desktop. Both are running well and performance is as good to a little better than with a normal thermal paste. Nothing is on fire yet and it’s been a month so I’m calling it a success.
Just got mine a few days ago after a few months waiting for a miscount in the warehouse. Boy, was it worth the wait. The instructions were simple, installation was painless and the easiest I've ever done. Perfect, clean application with no schmoo smearing, no edge cleanup, none of that. Chill it, cut it, slap it on. Cut the temps on my EVGA 3080 in half. Good stuff, getting a big sheet next time.
A little leaked out, could definitely be packaged better.
The thermal pad itself performs fine. It was a little harder to apply/handle than I expected, even after cooling it in the fridge before opening it.
My problem is with the packaging. My first impression was that it looks and feels very nice and premium. However, after opening it, I was disappointed with what I saw. The thermalpad had phasechanged during shipping. Due to how the packaging is designed, it was squished a little out of the sides (not a big deal). But it was also squished in the direcion away from the fold in the orange cardboard. This caused a significant amount of the pad to be too thin and unable to be applied as advertised. Also, the window in the orange cardboard caused the pad to have an uneven thickness, which made it harder to apply neatly. There was still enough usable area for me to use since I bought 2 pads, but it's disappointing to have a premium product be less than optimal.
I did not bother contacting support because I believe the shipping is partly to blame (too hot). I also assumed they were super bussy considering this was during the Lime-day rush.
It's ptm, and it's sized like the box says.
Have yet to use it as I'm waiting for other parts.
Used it on my Steam Deck would recommend
