Description
At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!
If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.
PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.
In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

Brought both of my Proxmox bearing NUC 10s down from 75c degree peaks to an amazing 50c peaks (Even had freshly pasted Arctic Mx6 prior to the pads). Just be sure to give them some load to get that phase change happening. Now have all the thermal head room to utilize all the 'dedenated wam'.
10/10 would apply again (But I won't even have to re apply these ones anyway 🤷♂️) . Thanks LTT Store!
It was time for a new paste on my old system, and I needed a paste for my wife’s new system. I went with PTM7950 Phase changed thermal pad 200 mm x 160 mm and was able to cover both systems with extra left over. Both systems are working great and I really like how clean the application is.
Feels like I have been granted the rank of Sorcerer: applied to laptops, and now the fans don't even kick on to an audible level while browsing, and gaming laptop is about 5C cooler on CPU, and about 15C cooler on GPU under under full load. Waiting to hear a medieval peasant calling for a trial.
As instructed I chilled the patch before application: and even freezing it: the material was warm to touch within about a minute, so EXCELLENT thermal transfer.
60x60mm is a lot bigger than you realize when you are applying to bare dies, especially when not huge modern 80/90 series chips.
Had no issues, found it fairly easy to apply, happy with results
Allowed my 2019 MacBook Pro to thermal throttle a little less, boosting about .2 GHz higher than before.
