The Offsite Laptop Bag

I love the organization options that this bag offers, and the build quality is excellent, but it's not big enough to use practically.

I have a 15" Macbook air, and with only the laptop, and some cables I can barely close the zipper, which is odd because the bag is loaded with pockets and compartments that I'd love to be able to use.

I could see myself buying an updated laptop bag in a year or so if the product was updated to make it an inch or two deeper.

I'll start by saying that I am not backpack-wearer when it comes to business settings. However, as a frequent business traveler, I found my regular laptop bag too bulky to pack in a suitcase. This left me relying on a backpack for carrying my laptop and other essentials onsite.

I was excited when this bag was announced, as it appeared to be a significantly smaller profile than a standard laptop bag, but provided more storage than a simple laptop sleeve.

As other reviews have mentioned, the bag is somewhat limited in bulky storage (power brick, standard wireless mouse), but it's easy enough to manage, and the bag itself is not terribly difficult to close if you have anything on the bulky side. The cable management straps are fantastic, and the quality is everything one would expect from Creator Warehouse.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the integration of expandable storage to accommodate larger items more comfortably.

To give an idea of what this bag can hold, here’s what I’m carrying in it today while traveling:

- 13-inch Dell Latitude 5420 laptop
- 16-inch Acer portable monitor
- Charging power brick and cables
- Jabra Bluetooth headset
- Logitech G604 mouse
- Carpio wrist rest
- AirPods case
- Two USB-C cables
- Pen
- Notepad

While this is a small amount compared to, say, a backpack, this is not meant to be a backpack or even a messenger bag replacement. This has worked well for me so far for my daily use in office, as well as two international trips so far.

Great laptop bag for grabbing and going with just the essentials. The materials feel great and the storage pockets are very useable for tech detritus. The only gripe I have is none of the pockets stretch enough to comfortably house a UK 3 pin plug. I guess this wouldn't have been a design consideration as I doubt they would have one on hand. If there is a future version possibly consider making one of the outside pockets more stretchy.

Nothing to complain about the quality, it feels like it can really last a decade. But unfortunately it's very small. I drop a 14' think and light laptop in there and it's very tight. I'd feel I'll have trouble fitting a regular sized 15 inch.
Carrying mouse and power cords in the smaller pouches will give you a hard time trying to close it since it's so small and narrow. The thick and rigid material(Which is great for quality) also does not help one bit in this regards.
