The Offsite Laptop Bag

I have the habit to fill my bag's pockets, something that is not possible with this style of bag. So I had to sacrifice some tools in order to have my trackball and keyboard with me.
Otherwise, it's really quality!

Just fits my Framework 13, but thats about it. If I add much more than a charging cable and brick, the bag bulges a ton and Im worried about strain it puts on my laptop display against the keys of my laptop.

This bag is extremely thin and small. So small that it is generous to even call it a bag. It functions more like a laptop sleeve with a handle and strap. Beyond a laptop, there isn't very much this "bag" can hold. Even a small GaN laptop charger causes the "bag" to bulge. And forget carrying anything beyond that. There is no room for anything else. Justifying such a small and impractical bag for $100 is difficult.

This is a good laptop bag and the size is perfect for MacBook Pro(s)! The only caveat is that once you start filling the multiple inner pockets fitting might be a bit snug. This is recommended for people in university and professionals who only want to bring a laptop, a notebook, pen(s), earbuds and documents on the go…if you’re the type wanting your everything with you or packing lunch the Commuter Backpack will suit better your needs.

I own both, I use the backpack for commuting and travel and the Offsite Laptop Bag only for going into the office, and they work very well based on my needs. But I have the luxury of having a kitchen into the office, so I buy the ingredients on the premise and cook my own meal at lunch…I can understand that this is not the norm and people wanting more space in their bags :)

This bag sets out on exactly what it was meant for, that happy medium between laptop case and messenger bag. The pockets hold all the essentials and the variety is well thought out. My work laptop is a bit chonky, it’s a 14” MSI stealth so between the GPU and thicker screen it fits really tight. I find what I have to do is unzip the accessory pocket about half way to get enough relief for it to fit. I ordered the large so I do wish it didn’t fit quite so snug. My 13” MacBook Air and iPad fit great. I’m guessing a MacBook Pro would as well.

Funny bonus feature: my bag smells like sawdust and now my iPad does too. It’s a nice sawdust smell but a little confusing for a bag made from plastic water bottles.
