Great bagpack with minor issues

After few weeks of commuting I can say that this is a great backpack. Overall this backpack is great wih minor issues. It's sturdy, made with stiff material so it holds it's shape very well. You can pack there a lot of stuff but you need to organize it thoughtfully as using some of the internal pockets will make it harder to access others. Also I'm using samsung smart tag and it doesn't fully fit in the designated pocket.
Still I'm happy with this purchase. Would buy again.

Not perfect, but great

I've been using the LTT Commuter Backpack for two weeks now, and overall, I'm very happy with it. My everyday carry (EDC) includes an iPad, a 14" MacBook Pro, a mouse, a separate accessory bag (not the LTT one), a pen, a notebook, a water bottle, sunglasses, an umbrella, and a few other smaller items. Everything fits well without making the bag feel bulky.

Comfort: A
I never realized how useful chest straps could be—now I can’t go without them. The backpack sits comfortably, even when fully loaded.

Capacity: B+
The design is well thought out, especially for a loadout similar to mine, with dedicated spaces for everything. However, there are a couple of downsides. The sunglasses pocket feels too flimsy to trust with an expensive pair, so I carry mine in a separate hardshell case. Additionally, some zippers on the smaller pockets—like the travel document pocket—are too recessed, making them difficult to access.

Another minor issue is that if you use the side pockets for a water bottle and an umbrella, there are no easily accessible pockets left for smaller items like keys. This means you’ll have to keep them in one of the main compartments, which isn’t always convenient for quick access. Although I've repurposed the sunglass-pocket for those things.

Build Quality & Aesthetics: A
The materials, stitching, and overall feel of the backpack is great.

All in all, I really like the backpack and I'm definitely happy that I got one since it feels like an upgrade to my last one while being cheaper.

Regular Tube Commuter - Really pleased with zero buyer's remorse.

Even with the early bird discount this is by far the most expensive backpack I've purchased. However, I do intend for this to be the last one I ever buy (provided it holds up long-term). My previous cheap-but-handy backpack lasted me a good few years with minor wear and tear and the Commuter Backpack's (CB) build quality is by far and away superior to that. I have high hopes (and expectations) for it.

For some context, I commute into London (UK) at least three days a week using the Underground and I need a bag that can carry my laptop, its desk stand, a trackpad, a pair of headphones and my lunch box along with the usual smaller items like lip balm, my wallet, work pass and more comfortably and compactly. Anything that can be carried in addition is a bonus. I was very pleased to find that I could carry everything from my old bag along with a book or my Steam Deck (at a bit of a squeeze) in a backpack with a footprint not much larger than my outgoing one!

Even with the added carry weight, I find the CB to be far more comfortable with the padding on the inside of the shoulder straps. The chest strap's adjustment took me a little while to figure out; it was a bit fiddly but should only need to be done once, thankfully. My previous backpack didn't have a chest strap so this is a very welcomed addition and is something my back (and chiropractor) thank me for.

I'm a big fan of the exterior pockets. The stealth pocket houses my wallet and is appropriately tricky to find and get in to, although I have frustratingly had the zip pull wedge itself at the top a couple of times, and the RHS pocket inside the bottle holder, which I can just about access without removing my bag, houses my lip balm, work pass, earbuds and earplugs comfortably. I don't have anything in the LHS one because I find that it's unusable if you have a bottle in the holder, which is understandable, and I do.

The interior organisation is incredible. Every single item I carry now has its own place. I've dedicated an area for my prescription, allergy and pain meds, for example, as well as some cables I carry around on the regular, the tips for my earbuds, my keys (more on that later), etc. I'm blown away with how well everything fits and am excited for when I have to use the CB for going on holiday instead of commuting because I'm sure it'll carry everything I want with ease, unlike my last bag.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the Commuter Backpack. I was worried that spending so much money on what I consider a luxury item would bring me guilt and/or buyer's remorse but I'm happy to report that there is none of that here. I have no serious complaints (only minor ones I'm willing to forgive) with it at all so I'm rating it five stars.

A couple of things - good and bad - I couldn't word into the review properly but want to address:
- The grab handle on the top is confidence-inspiringly strong. I have no concerns it's going to give, even when my bag is fully loaded. I love that.
- The zip pulls are nice but, as others have said, are all the same so getting into the right pocket by feel alone can be tricky, though I reckon I'll get used to this over time.
- I like the sunglasses pocket, but I don't yet trust it to protect my (prescription) shades when my bag is fully loaded, so I still put them in a case within that pocket.
- I'm a big fan of the elevated/air-gapped laptop pouch. I can drop my laptop into the bag without worrying about it hitting whatever surface is underneath the bag.
- The "carabiner" clip inside the bag (for keys) is a little difficult to open and close when on the move, I find, though I am a fan of its compact design so I can live with it and/or get used to it over time.

Nearly great

Perfect size and great layout of pockets etc. it’s well made and not too heavy.
However the zip fasteners are frustrating. The interior pulls are very small and hard to use. I ended up adding some pull loops to solve this. Also the exterior pulls are all black and so I found myself getting mixed up between the sunglasses pocket and the main pocket. I replaced the sunglasses pull with an orange one to solve that problem.

I wish it were half an inch taller so a larger keyboard would fit, but thankfully, I have a TKL I can use instead. Outside of that, it’s fantastic, excellent quality, and super comfy to wear.
