The manner in which the Commuter Backpack is used directly impacts the usual and customary life of the product, as materials will deteriorate and fade over time and moving parts (such as zippers) will also wear.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

  • damages caused by misuse, abuse, or by accident or negligence;
  • damage caused by rips, cuts or tears;
  • normal wear and tear (including the breakdown of materials over time);
  • products purchased from unauthorized dealers;
  • cosmetic damage; or
  • unauthorized modification or alteration.

Great backpack!

Best backpack I've owned to date!
Always found something lacking on the similar sized ones I've used up until now

So far so good

I've had the backpack for almost 90 days and I have to say that I like it so far! This is my first LTT store purchase and I have some things I'm happy about and some things I'm not as happy about.

First, the amount of space in the "bag of holding" is very nice to and fits all my needs for school and work. The waterbottle holder is much appreciated, especially the size, and the backpack nicely fits once adjusted.

The only downsides I have with the bag are the lack of quick-access pockets (like a front pocket for pens/pencils). I don't want to unzip either the laptop portion or the bag portion all the time just to grab a pen or pencil, it'd be nice to have a small front-pocket for that, but it's a nitpick. My biggest gripe is with the straps actually.

After 5 weeks of biking to school/work daily with the backpack, one of the plastic retainers on the strap snapped. I don't know how to fix it and now that particular strap won't stay at its assigned length. The other retainer hasn't snapped but now I'm very careful whenever I sling the backpack on, as I don't want to snap the other retainer and be stuck with no replacement parts.

I have no idea what the cost would be, but I think having metal strap retainers would have been nice, but what do I know?

- recommend the bag to be a little higher up, it sits very uncomfortable on the lower back, doesn't sit on the lumbar arch well
Interior layout 6/10
- probably one of the worst pocket layout I've seen in a bag of this price. Why are the pockets all fitted "inside". It made it very unaccessible when your fill it up with other stuff. You have a huge real-estate on the front flap, why not put a few pockets there?
- pockets are very "tight" lack of space, can't put items with depth and width. When you full up the pockets it starts pressing onto the laptop compartments. My laptop had indents from my main compartment
- the two black pockets of the laptop compartment is placed too high up, taking things out is very annoying as it gets stuck with not much room up top.
- passport pocket is a great placement, but hope that it would be slightly wider, it's difficult and annoying to unzip it from a tight spot to retrieve the passport.

Hope that version 2 will be better with more though put into it. Perfection is little things done right.

Great Backpack for College

I bought this bag to replace my current college backpack. Its size and shape make it very easy to carry between classes and throw in my car. It also holds everything I use on a daily basis and is very easy to access the different compartments. I have been impressed with the quality and durability of the materials. It is definitely a great product.
