Awesome magnets, not so great adhesive

The flexibility this kit offers is amazing, and really helped with my upgrade to a sit-stand desk so I could lift everything off the floor. The downside is that a few weeks in, almost all of the VHB adhesive has failed and my magnets are hanging by the wires. I ordered new adhesive I will cut to shape, because I love the magnets, but the adhesive failed on even small wires without any pressure on them, that were hanging on the underside of my bamboo desk.

OTT but in a good way

Over the top and a premium solution to the problem, but much quicker than printing a full Underware grid and cable covers.

Super handy, but hard to justify price

If I wasn't particularly well off I couldn't possibly see buying this - the value to the dollar is just out of scope for most. The product is high quality and quite nifty and I can afford it, though, so, I got it anyway.

Time to get organized!

This is a great assortment of cable organization possibilities. I have a standing desk and it’s good but it’s time to raise the standards and take it to the next level. I find my current setup isn’t so convenient for making changes. I was just about to redo some items on it and decided to incorporate the MCM. I have purchased some of the products before and ended up finding them useful for routing wires and charging cables around the metal framed bed for my 3D printer. I ended up using them elsewhere so now I had to buy another set to do the desk. They work great!

Better than any cable management I have ever used!

I have tried magnetic cable management before off of amazon but they were not very quality and a pain to use. Magnets were strong but I was using twisty ties with them and could not get many cables attached to them. Mostly relied on them to sit on my desk and in a cable tray I installed under the desk. On the contrary I had my entire setup managed within like 30 mins with the use of the MCM Essentials pack. I really like the cable tie holders because as I am running my cables I can simply unstrap and add more cables as I go. For the straggling cables that were by themselves I just used a few small to medium cable arches. Then the extra long arch I was unsure what to use it for at first but its literally the perfect holder for my headphones and now they never fall.

The one thing I do not like is the power brick holders. I find the cable ties just keep falling off the piece and I cannot get it tight enough for them to stay secure. I think a more secure way to attach to the magnetic piece should be implemented.

I did not have to use any of the plates as my desk frame is made entirely from steel square tube and thus made my experience with the magnets really good. If you have a desk like mine these are %100 worth trying out for yourself!
