Excellent Insulation, Poor Lid

At $20, this is an excellent value as long as you aren't picky about the color you get. The bottle has excellent insulation, better than my similar bottle. It also has a very flat bottom that's much less prone to tipping than others I've used

However, I'm not a fan of the lid. The lack of pivot on the "handle" leaves it sticking out awkwardly in certain situations like when in the side of a backpack. The edges on the lid came very sharp, and it was exceedingly uncomfortable to hold when full from the handle. I took a file and knocked the sharp parts down, but this should really be done before it ships; no other bottle I've used has this problem. The cap is held on by rather flexible thin plastic arms. I haven't had any issues with arms, but I'm concerned about them becoming brittle and cracking over time.

Those nitpicks aside, an excellent water bottle and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Heaps of fun

Love the sizing and design. Keep me boiling water in freezing outdoor temps warm and my ice cubes stay frozen in summer.

Good quality bottle

I love the design. That’s why I bought it. It’s seems like it’s good quality and the lid is very easy to drink from. One thing I would note though is that you can squeeze the bottle with one hand and bend the metal. I’m sure it’s fine as it’s very sturdy but just something to note.

High quality, cool looking Bottle!

Drink bottle is very high quality, have had no dents or paint scratch off (even through I've dropped it). Took ages to come to AUS, but is to be expected. Had so many compliments already and just glad to be repping LTT, after watching diligently for so many years with such a high quality product. Didn't expect anything less from the team. <3

Pricey

Please don't take this as a complaint, more just a commentary on my experience. Solid product, as far as XL steel water bottles go, it is great. Very expensive product for what it is. I purchased 2 of the 40Oz bottles and it cost me $95.00 CAD delivered. I can buy a comparable 32Oz INSULATED bottle for $30.00 CAD at Canadian Tire. Now if the warrantee and support from a Canadian company that is benefiting and making all the profit, then cool, I accept it. If on the other hand these are manufactured out of country and the profit is split between overseas producers and LTT, then what's the point? For $95.00 I can get a better product for less, the ethical and responsible choice doesn't matter. Also, why doesn't the Canadian company have CAD as an option, metric as an option, and .ca site?
