These are extremely comfortable and great sounding headphones. I've had issues with comfort from other even premium brands due to my large head, but I can wear these all day without issue. They are open back which is perfect for me in my home office, but that may not be the right solution if you are in a noisy environment or otherwise have nearby people who don't want to hear your audio. I do wish the cable length was a little longer since I have a standing desk and like to move, but I can't really complain about that since that isn't a common use case.
These are super comfortable headphones, even for a guy with a large head. I usually have standard headphones on the largest adjustment setting and they barely fit, however, the HD 560S have so much adjustment that I have room to spare and can even wear a beanie under if it is super cold. The cushions are nice and soft (and big enough) and I can wear them most of the day without ear fatigue or pain. The cable is a nice length and good quality. The audio clarity is awesome, and they get super loud, especially if you pair them with a quality headphone amp. This isn't a negative because it is a part of the intentional design of open back headphones, but just be aware that the room will be able to hear what you are listening to.
Exactly as expected, very good quality, fits nicely. My head is normal size but I can see a size problem if your noggin is a bit larger. Thanks LTT!
u r products quality is so good sometimes i wonder if u should make quality control courses for other companies
I really like these headphones! I had been using a pair of wired ATH-M50X for several years and decided to give these a try when they were bundled with the MCM. The Open Back design is certainly different than the M50X, but I really like the soundstage it provides for the sound. I also like that it allows me to hear my surroundings. You do lose some bass response due to the open back design, but they still sound good to my ears. The RTINGS review has good detail on audio performance for these.
I do find them to be very comfortable, the clamping force feels similar to my M50X, but these headphones are much lighter than the M50X. The earcups are potentially a little sweaty, but I also run warm. I also find the included cable to be just okay. I ended up reusing the coiled cable from my M50X. The included cables with the M50X are probably not recommended to be used with these headphones (the locking mechanism crashes slightly), but the cable will fit if you are okay using some force to insert it.
I would NOT buy these headphones if you work closely to other people and do not want to annoy them with your audio, or if you want noise cancellation (or at least noise isolation) from your surroundings.
