There really isn't a ton to say, this backpack is what it says it is and does what it says it does. If you are looking for a medium sized backpack with the advertised features, this one seems to be well made and the price is reasonable.

My favorite features are that it stands pretty well on its own even when empty, it doesn't have a ton of random stuff hanging off of it to get caught on things, and the bottle pockets are large enough to fully hold my water bottles without them falling out but the pockets themselves still fold in nice and flat so it doesn't look like dog ears.

My only real complaint is that the magnetic chest strap isn't included (I understand why it's not default though, pacemakers...) and has been out of stock. I'm also sad that they didn't include the carabineer zipper pulls of the 35L backpack and just used normal ones.

Although I am a huge LLT fan, and have enjoyed supporting them over the years, this review is based on someone who has well over 15 bookbags trying to find the right one for me, and this bag is the closest I have run into so far.

Is the bag perfect, no - but then again, nothing is perfect and there is always something that could be worked on, or a feature added that may be wished for.

I have been looking for a bag that is big enough for laptop carry, one portable game system, a small carry on notebook with some small nick naks. This bookbag does do all of these things and more. It is a bigger book bag so it has no issue holding all the things I want, but at the same time its slightly bigger than expected and so I found I end up adding more to the book bag that I may want to as a normal carry.

I do wish there was a small front pocket for putting pens and stuff in, but I understand why it isnt. I do love how easy it is to access most everything in the bag, and it pairs very well with all my tech stuff, and thus it turned into more of a tech bag for when I go on clients sites then an everyday carry.

I have not had a chance to take it on a plane yet to see how it fairs for that as I have some concerns as the bookbag is the size it is with or without contents in it (which is a good thing for strength but poor for storage places).

I would love to see a slim bag that is only for holding a few key items as a third option as each bag seems to get closer and closer to what I am personally looking at.

As for the quality of the bag it has been really good. I have had no fear of anything inside the bag not being supported or getting scratched up while in use, there is all kinds of creative ways to get tons of stuff in the bag and there was a time or two I had to get forceful with the zippers (this was my own fault as I packed the bag to full), and I didnt feel like the zippers were ready to fall off or come off.

I really love the larger side pockets as the have come in handy a couple different times since using the bag. I am still using it as my daily carry as it is my favorite of all my bags.

Awesome product for minimalists who like a slick clean design. The laptop pocket is a bit on the smaller side if you've got a 14-15 inch display but that's already been communicated by the team. I like it for what it is marketed. A more affordable LTT backpack that has all the TLC of the original one.

Overall I like the size and build quality of this backpack. Honestly I was hoping for a smaller version of the LTT bag since it was released, so was very excited and ordered as soon as it was released.

Since receiving the backpack though and using it for around a month I continue to be disappointed in the size/design of the pockets. I'm not sure if its a manufacturing tolerance issue with my bag specifically, but there is no chance I could load it like their store pictures show.

When loaded with a 14" MBP and an iPad in the tech compartment (similar to their store photo) I struggle to find a pocket to hold smaller things like cables or the MBP charging brick. There is no chance I could fit a notebook and an external hard drive like their pictures show.

If I only carry only the MBP or the iPad the pockets are a little better, but still feel extremely tight.

Overall great build quality, but unfortunately the design/size of the pockets is a big miss for me on this one. I would have gladly given up an inch of the main storage compartment for pockets that were more usable. Because of this I would have a hard time recommending this bag unless you travel with only a tablet or thin laptop.
