Lot of Hits, Lot of Misses, I probably should have returned it

Overall, it's a good backpack, but for how proud LTT was of this product, they made some dumb and silly mistakes.

Pros
- Quality materials and Construction
- Good, solid and seemingly safe fit for today's mid and smaller size laptops and tablets.
- Lots of attachment spots for pens, quick releases, etc
- Good internal zippers on the pouches
- External zippers are high quality, but this also shows up in the cons
- The top pocket is big enough for what I usually use a top pouch for, earbud case, small USB devices, work badge etc.
- The system for keeping the excess strap from flopping around is decent, not the best, but not the worst.

Cons
- The top handle for carrying is too small. Like every other premium backpack, the handle should be high enough so your fingers don't rub on the pack AND it should be large enough diameter so it's like holding a tool instead of a thinner handle so it doesn't cut into your hand's circulation
- The shoulder straps were clearly cut and made for a short and thin person. Being a tall and big person, I have still never had to let out the strap so much as this one, literally twice as long every other backpack I have bought in the last 40 years.
- The chest strap is unusable for a taller person because of the above issue with the shoulder strap, the only place on the shoulder strap is way too high for a tall person.
- The exterior zippers, while being well made are for some reason thin cords ending in a plastic pull tab. While they are usable, every other backpack on the market has pulls that are easier to grip and pull. No clue why they thought these were better, a simple loop of tough fabric works well and I've never had one snag.
- The water bottle pouches are a weird design, I'm guessing to pull it close if there's nothing in it. It has this weird tight stretchy band that literally crushed a regular store brand bottle of water (i.e. the cheapy ones you buy in a 12 pack, not a solid yeti or something). I guess it's fine, but I don't see it as being a positive. And they have these zipper pouches that are so thin, no idea what anyone would ever put in them, just another silly thing.
- There is a small pouch on the back, like where it would sit against the small of your back. I'm guessing it's for a passport, but not only is that the worst place to store a passport, it's so slim, only a child's hands would fit comfortably enough to pull it out easily. So it's worthless for pretty much everyone. (Don't put your passport in a place like that, you never need to pull it out in a few seconds, keep it someplace secure, you'll have a few minutes to dig it out at customs).
- The strap for sliding this over the handles of a rolling suitcase is just a single 1-inch wide strap. You want something at least 3-inches wide to keep it from sloshing around and twisting as you walk along. I tried it out on my regular suitcases and it was terrible, I would never use this, it's not worth the hassle.
- The biggest and silliest issue though, is the front, large compartment. It takes up the majority of the shape of the backpack and it's just a giant useless cavern, no idea what they were thinking people would use it for. At the back is a series of pouches and slots BUT they are narrow and pulled tight up against the back wall of the section. There are no large pouches for putting chargers or power vaults in, you can shove them into the pouches that are there, but they stretch the material. There isn't even a pouch that fits their own precision screwdriver kit. So after I put in my cords, charger, power vault and other things, I'm left with this enormous unused space in the middle. I'm guessing they thought you would stuff a jacket in it, but like everyone else, I have no need to stuff a jacket into it during a commute, which this is made for. Anything that doesn't fill the entire empty space will bounce around in it when you walk, so not where you want to put a container with food in it for lunch or have an electronic device floating around. JUST A SILLY DECISION!!! Fill that space with usable pouches, pockets or at least make it collapsible or add velcro strips for attaching things to the interior wall.
- While this is a minor thing, the backpack straps don't have magnets in them so that they stick the back of it when your arms aren't in them. This has been standard in premium backpacks for years now

Sleek Backpack

Love this thing. Looks good, fits all my junk, and keeps it dry (College student… rains all the time here). Laptop pocket zippers were hard to use at first, but since breaking them in they are flawless.

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic. So many tech backpacks look huge and awkward on my female frame, but this one is a really nice size while still fitting lots inside.

The materials are great quality, as expected from LTT. And most importantly, it fits my LTT water bottle in the water bottle pocket! So hard to find a bag that does that.

I don't carry laptops with me currently, but I do think it'll be a tight squeeze if you have a gaming laptop. Thankfully in my case, I upgraded to a desktop a while ago so any laptop I'd be carrying would be a thin & light.

Exactly what I had been waiting for!

It's the perfect size for me, carries way more than it looks like it could, and the materials are premium.

Size: a lot of complaints asking for larger sizes. I am so grateful that this bag is exactly the size it is. I don't have a 16 inch laptop, and I don't like large laptops because then I have to carry them every day. The regular LTT backpack is great at carrying large laptops, but that bag was bigger than I wanted my backpack to be, so I didn't buy the regular LTT backpack. This model is the perfect re-design for me, as the OG was going to be too large for my carpool a couple times a week, and seemed unwieldy in an office setting.

Carrying capacity: Alongside my office job I host trivia a couple times per week use a 14 inch Thinkpad , which this bag is perfect for. It holds my laptop with my slides and charger, my tip jar, my makeup, and my change of clothes (for the aforementioned tips), with room to spare for my every day office job necessities. I keep a pencil pouch, extra phone battery, usb-c dongle, my daily medications, toiletries like chap stick and eye drops, and my wallet, with enough room to stuff my lunchbox inside my backpack if I really wanted. The main pocket seriously feels like the bag of holding! and then there's the 'laptop pocket' as I call it in the back which slightly deeper (in the plane that measures 8") than a Thinkpad T470 with room for my 3DS and charger. The water bottle pockets hols my off brand hydroflask (the skinny kind not the thick kind), even with the main pocket stuffed to the gills. The pocket designs and layout are very unique (until the clones hit Amazon) and they are perfect for my needs. Thank you LTTeam <3

Material: I haven't used a name brand backpack for every day use since my 2010 Jansport (RIP, such a good bag). And every thrift shop find, Amazon no-name, or Costco $20 deal has failed me by simply dissolving. Sometimes its in the zipper, which starts eating fabric and never works right again. Sometimes its in the seam that joins the inside material with the external material and separates the pockets, which means everything turns into one big pocket or becomes liable to leak my belongings into the world. My most recent bag started dissolving where the should strap meets the bottom of the bag, which threatened to turn into a single strap backpack permanently. I have only had this bag for ~2 months and so far has 0 (ZERO) of those early signs of degradation. And here's the kicker, this bag has the infamous "Trust me, Bro" guarantee, which I have had great experience with in the past, and have no reason to believe (at time of writing) will change in the future. Again, thank you LTTeam, y'all frickin' rock <3
