A Pleasant Upgrade

My original lids never broke in the common ways, only getting shattered when a full 64 ounce water bottle tipped over and landed lid first. These new lids feel just a bit nicer all around and seem to flop around slightly less when open. I happened to catch these on a sale, so they were an obvious choice when I needed more.

Bottle Might Dent but Lid Will Break

Much easier to clean than the V1 lid but very fragile. Snapped the spout arms after only a few weeks of use. Ended up going with 3rd party replacements.

A vast improvement over the original

I was one of the unlucky early adopters that had the first water bottle lid snap. This one is a tank, and has weathered many knocking arounds by my cats. Highly recommend when paired with the excellent water bottles LTT sells.
